The price of gold in the international market falls below the 1100 level of U.S. dollar after the last few days is above that level.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, in trading Wednesday (23/2/2010) local time, gold prices closed at 1096.50 U.S. dollars per troy ounce or less expensive than Tuesday at 1102.70 U.S. dollar positions.
The decline also occurred in Hong Kong market on Thursday morning. Precious metal prices opened lower on the position 1.096,50-1.097,50 U.S. dollars per ounce, or down compared to yesterday’s closing on the U.S. dollar 1.100,00-1.101,00 position.
