Japan continues to increase investment in Indonesia

Indonesia and Japan have a close relationship that is very important in economic perspective. Until now, Japan remains a major investor in various business sectors of Indonesia and continue to demonstrate commitment to improving industrial capacity.
Indonesia trade balance with Japan was still a surplus. In fact, when the global crisis hit Japan which affects the performance decrease in imports, Indonesia is still able to record a surplus in exports for U.S. $ 9 billion.
It was made by Minister of Industry, Mohammad S Hidayat after arriving in Tokyo, Sunday (14.3.2010). Minister of Industry with 32 businessmen and 30 officials of echelon I and II, Ministry of Industry and other ministries for bilateral meetings and dialogues with Japanese businessmen.
According to the plan, this Monday, Minister of Industry will talk covered with Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Japan Naoshima. Hidayat said the government leaders of both countries have a strong commitment to building closer cooperation.
Indonesia will take advantage of this opportunity to boost national industrial development the last five years is less encouraging.
